Weekly Forest School groups for home educated and flexi schooled children in the Hermitage of Braid Nature Reserve in Edinburgh.

Fridays 10 - 3pm

Our Friday group is full, but if you join the waiting list we’ll let you know when a space becomes available.

Ages: 6 - 10 years

Cost: £35 per session, termly

Thursdays 11 - 3:30pm

The original “Hermipigs” group is full, but if you join the waiting list we’ll let you know when a space becomes available.

Ages: 8 - 14 years

On Edinburgh’s Doorstep

We run our groups from the beautiful Hermitage of Braid Nature Reserve, nestled behind Blackford Hill, just south of the centre of Edinburgh. We share the site with ancient oaks, sycamores, bluebells in the spring, greater spotted woodpeckers, goldcrests, song thrushes, treecreepers, nuthatches…
